I have been working hard today to finish up my own marketing materials - specifically business cards, a resume, etc.
There is still a bit to do before my interview tomorrow so hopefully the rest of it will come together quickly!
Here is a preview...

thanks for stopping by!

so it's been awhile...
but I have been busy. I am almost finished with my website and have not had much chance to get around to posting drawings these days... but never fear.. I will be back to posting some good ole fashioned hand-drawn, scanned-in stuff soon enough...
check the site --> www.dinky3d.com
thanks!

as I have been dusting off a lot of things around here and discovering some things that I had completely forgotten about, I realize that there are many more things I would like to accomplish with my drawings... don't know exactly what direction I want to go yet, but I am happy to see new inspiration in everyday things and in other very talented artists online... today I came acrost Peter Hoffman's site and really like how the media he uses adds texture to his illustrations and how it gives his work a different feeling than just a pencil sketch. [ Glashaus <-- his website ] below are a few more drawings I discovered while doing some more organizing on my computer today...

Another illustration created for RS - promotional materials for the creative team. Hand drawn then painted in Photoshop. :D
Happy New Year :)
It is nice to be back again... The above is another caricature of one of my coworkers :) That was such a fun project... I am somewhat tempted to do a few more [already have some people in mind ;)]
Looking forward to really getting things started here, and seeing where things go. It is an exciting thing to be given a fresh start - looking at your dreams once again and having a clean slate to pursue them :)
Hope you all are staying warm!

I came across some caricatures that I had done of some of my coworkers :P The above are my favorites... I used vellum finish bristol board and graphite to do the drawings, then scanned and digitally painted them in Photoshop
One good thing about being let go is that I had to clean out my desk.. I came across a bunch of artwork that I had forgotten about :)
One of my faves - and one just in time for the season, is the Santa I drew for the company Christmas card. Done entirely digitally [Photoshop + tablet]. At the end I started to run out of time, so the 'gifts' coming out of the bag were images that I added filters to. The rest, bag included was all created from scratch while looking at different references.
